Big Saturday Outing At Hawk's Grove With Premiums
The Hamilton Evening Journal and Butler County Democrat hold a major event at Hawk's Grove near Venice on Saturday August 30. Entry rules cover 1912 and 1918 crops, home grown exhibits, a baby and horse show, music, and a heavy premium list from local businesses. Police protection is planned, intoxicants are forbidden, and many merchants promise rewards for top displays and best displays of produce and craftsmanship.
