County Names New Economist for Dallas Guthrie Counties
Karen Gilbertson of Blue Earth Minnesota was hired July 15 by the Dallas Guthrie County Extension Council in Guthrie Center to serve as Extension Home Economist for Dallas and Guthrie Counties. Electric Rates Up at Towa Electric in Iowa

Guthrie County law enforcement officials and jail inmates now enjoy air conditioned offices and cells.
