At a Sunday meeting in the Catholic church it was decided to install a steam heating plant in the church parsonage sisters' home and the school building. The project will begin soon with an estimated cost of about four thousand dollars.
A member of Greensburg's organized thieves entered Frank Rigby's home through a window Thursday night and stole one dozen dollars. The robbery was discovered Friday morning with no clue to the culprit.

John Green, a 42 year old Black man, stands accused after attacking Mrs. Caroline Sefton at her North East Street home between nine and ten on Thursday night. He fled with seventy-one to seventy-six cents, was tracked by bloodhounds, confessed to detectives, waived preliminary, and is held for the June term in Decatur circuit court with bond set at 36000.
Prof James R Crawley married Miss Grace Mulliken by Rev James Mailley at East Main Street home Saturday morning The couple will visit Indianapolis then Franklin before touring the West for the summer Both are prominent educators in the county with Crawley serving as principal of St Paul High School and Mulliken a former Grade One teacher The STANDARD joins friends in congratulating the newlyweds and wishing them long helpful lives
Daniel McCormack died at his farm one mile southeast of the city on Friday shortly after one o’clock from pneumonia. He was eighty years old, a longtime county resident, and a respected early pioneer. He leaves a widow and several grandchildren. A former pike contractor, he supervised grade work on the railroad to Columbus and the Michigan road. In recent years he worked for the Goyett poultry firm until illness. Funeral services were Sunday at two at his residence, burial in Sandcreek Cemetery.
