Lively Runaway In Town From Milk Wagon
Kenneth Hodges, son of Mr and Mrs Henry Hodges, rode to town with a wagon full of milk cans. After delivering at the West Main depot he found his team bolting westward, scattering milk cans along the street. The wagon wheel hub caught the reins but the horses were stopped without injury or damage.

In White Bear known as the White Bear, Johnny Robbins forced out proprietor Frank Hirshley, took over as bartender, cooked, and drank with friends. Marshal Dickey intervened. a peace warrant led to Robbins being summoned before Mayor Thomson. Robbins waived preliminary trial and posted $200 bond for court.
