Knights of Pythias lodge No. 368 of St Paul holds a love feast at their hall tonight with speeches by Oscar V Nay Edward Chadwick and Charles A Tindall plus a Greensburg lodge delegation invited to attend.

Twenty years after Frank Brown and Effie Draper joined in marriage at the Wilkerson home the couple celebrated with nearly a hundred relatives and friends. The event included a rainbow arch, punch, a lavish luncheon, music, and gifts for Ernest and Cecil Brown and a long list of Wilkerson and Sefton family guests.

Friday afternoon Mrs. Mary Drake of West Sheridan Street started toward the yard with burning paper to light a trash pile when her clothing caught fire. Her son, nearby, tried to smother the flames and sustained severe burns to his hands while aiding her. The injuries to Mrs Drake are painful but not dangerous.
Captain Will C Ehrhardt and 24 members of Decatur lodge No 103 L O F will visit Shelbyville lodge No 39 on Monday evening to confer the third degree. They travel by special car and will be joined by many of their lodge members. Ehrhardt's team is reputed second to none in the state for perfect and appreciative work.
The Cincinnati Times-Star reports Iva Poor married Jack Clifford Fagan of New York twice within a month to defy her father Woodson Poor who sought an annulment claiming she was underage. The second ceremony occurred just hours before a planned talk with the groom, and Mr Poor has moved to Philadelphia while Iva Irby performs on stage.
Benjamin Benefield faced a preliminary hearing before Squire Powers on the charge of family mistreatment involving his seventeen year-old step-daughter. The magistrate bound him over to the circuit court with a $100 bond, which he posted.
The assessors of personal property for the townships will meet at the courthouse with County Assessor John M. Reddington today. Real estate appraisers will meet him there tomorrow to complete arrangements for their tasks and ensure uniformity in value.
A barn owned by Samuel Weir on West McKee Street was totally burned Friday morning around six. Firefighters arrived after the blaze had grown too large to save the structure. The cause is unknown and losses are about two hundred dollars.
