270 At ACCW Institute In Iowa Region Meeting
North and north central Iowa Catholic women gathered at Immaculate Conception Church Charles City for the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women regional institute. President Eldon Beyer opened sessions as commissions outlined plans for the year and Sister Marie Barth explained faith doctrine and theology relations. International Affairs Commission chair Francis Krieger renamed it Information and Action and urged informed, active participation. the Jingle in the Jeans project delivered 1239 jeans and shorts to Catholic Relief Services, with 346 dollars for transport costs.

NEIHPC meeting Oct 4 in Waterloo on health planning topics with $2.40 dinner. Social Security rep in Allison Oct 9 and 23. Floyd County 4H leaders to hold five small meetings across the county to discuss 1974 programs and new planning forms for senior members.
