1968 Crop Soybean Support Rate Set in Butler County
Prices for 1968 crop soybeans in Butler County will be supported at an average of 2.47 dollars per bushel. Kenneth E. Hart, Chairman of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County Committee, announced. County rates reflect the national average of 2.50 dollars per bushel, the same as 1967. No. 2 grade soybeans bases on market relationships across producing areas. Loans and purchases will provide price support through June 30, 1969.

He will undergo two to four weeks of individual combat training, then return home for leave before reporting to his first Marine assignment.
