A list of prospective jurors for Floyd County District Court fourth quarter has been released by clerk Jane Sylvester. Jurors chosen will report November 4 at 9 30 a.m. Greene area residents Elen Clackeman and Esther Juhl are among those drawn for possible jury duty.
Jason Edward Brinkman was baptized during a Sunday service at St Peter's Lutheran Church on October 20. Sponsors were Edward Heizelman, Dennis Heizelman, Clarence Brinkman, and Barb Brinkman. A dinner followed at the home of Clarence Brinkman. Attending were Fred Brinkman of Clarksville, Edward Heizelman and Hanna Heizelman of Mason City, Dennis Heizelman, Mrs George Luchtenburg of Allison, Don Hanson, Andrea and Michael of Osage.
The Union Busy Bees gathered October 12 at Marble Rock Town Hall. Members discussed plans for a Mother-Daughter Tea. Ann Swinton led the Pledge of Allegiance, Dawn Marsh and Sherry Ewald presented on deodorant, Theresa Merfeld performed I Would Like You to Meet, Darla Wrigget and Joyce Lines presented Gustav Pest, and Nancy Shook with Jackie Gerhard led Potting and Planting.
