Twenty one persons attended the Butler County Tuberculosis and Health Association dinner in the Hotel Albion Party Room. Marian Law of Waterloo attended as district field representative. The group bought the film Are You Positive to share with schools and clubs. Christmas Seal letters go out Friday November 15 with a goal of 3281.86 dollars. last year 3217.51 was raised. New Report Card System Adopted by School

The board approved a shift to a quarter system starting fall 1957 amid new subject report cards. Each student receives a card per class with space for teacher comments and parent signatures. End of first quarter is Friday November 1 and reports go home November 1. A failing status letter is sent to parents at the end of the fifth week of each nine week period.

Corn Bowl Conference officials met at Nora Springs on Wednesday and set Greene-Rockford game for Friday at 8 o clock on the local field.
