Hobby Fair November 3 in Allison Iowa Farm Bureau building

The 1976 Hobby Fair sponsored by Butler County Farm Bureau Women will be held on Wednesday November 3 in the basement of the Farm Bureau building in Allison. Public viewing runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be available. Many displays promise Christmas shopping ideas. The event moves to the new Farm Bureau building three blocks north from last year.

Haunted House Sneak Preview Opens at Jaycee Hall

Kappa Jota hosts a Halloween Haunted House at Jaycee Hall with a sneak preview Thursday Oct. 28 from 8 to 9 pm. The spectacle promises chills from gargoyles to a from deep cavern apparition linked to Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. NBC sample precinct chosen in Coldwater Township for 1976 vote

NBC News selects Coldwater Township precinct 10 Be as a national sample for the 1976 presidential election. Twenty voters will be interviewed on election day ten in the morning and ten in the evening. Each nth voter fills a confidential questionnaire of thirty questions, including voting choice and views.
