Greene Volunteer Ambulance Service GM has launched a door to door campaign to raise 25000 for a late model ambulance and equipment. Nineteen volunteers plan EMT training starting Oct 28, with 115 hours over 9 months at about 100 dollars per person. City provides housing beside the Fire Station and Council approves. The Greene girls finished the regular volleyball season with a mix of results. A 17-15 7-15 12-15 loss to New Hampton on Monday followed by a 15-9 15-9 win at Stransgar, a win boosting their claim to the mythical Cornbowl Conference title after beating St Ansgar and North Central, and a 0-15 4-15 7-15 defeat to Osage on Thursday. With two seniors graduating the Rambers look to be competitive next season.
