Former Greene Man Beaten and Robbed in Waterloo

Gary Holzschuh, 23, the son of Mr and Mrs Harold Holzschuh, was beaten and robbed by eight youths Friday night at 10 45 p m in Waterloo. Passers by found him in a Del Farm Food Store doorway on East 4th Street and alerted police. He was treated at Allen Memorial Hospital from Friday night to Sunday morning, with bruises. He said the assailants attacked him in the 700 block of East 4th Street, stealing $15 wallet and a walkie talkie radio, which police later recovered damaged.
