The Butler County 4-H Awards Night will be held next Saturday at 8:00 p.m. in the Farm Bureau Auditorium in Al ison. Recipients of the 4-H Achievement trophies and the Chicago Awards Trip will be announced, along with county medal winners and other awards. A 4-H display will showcase extra projects such as small engines entomology photography woodworking climatology and electric.

Rites Held for Siegfred Dralle 55
Siegfred Conrad Dralle died at his farm east of Greene on Thursday afternoon October 28. Born January 16, 1910, he married Fannie Kielman in Vilmar on April 16, 1923 and farmed. Survivors include his wife, son Ronald of Greene, daughter Lois Mason of Greene, five grandchildren, six siblings and four sisters. Funeral services were held November 1 at St Johns United Church of Christ east of Greene with Rev. A Kruetzman officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Reid's Funeral Chapel in charge.

Cliff Burroughs of Greene and Mr. and Mrs. George H. Weitzel of Dubuque just returned from a three day International Mutual Fund Convention at the Americana Hotel New York City. Burroughs toured the New York Stock Exchange and attended a Dreyfus Fund meeting at Number Two Broadway. Weitzel and Burroughs won a contest sponsored by Harold F. Miller & Co. in Dubuque.

Gerald Ramker of Rudd was named Floyd County's top pork producer for 1965 at ceremonies in Charles City on Saturday. Ramker, son of Mrs. Louis Ramker of Greene, markets up to 900 hogs per year. The Floyd County Pork Producers Association board chose by secret ballot.

The Greene Quarter will hold its annual banquet to honor the Greene football team on Thursday November 4 in the school auditorium.
