Greene High School Junior Senior Banquet Attended
The Greene High School Junior Senior Banquet took place on Saturday May 18 in the auditorium with 153 juniors and guests in attendance. Oriental Garden hosted decorations with blue ceilings silver stars cherry blossom trees and red and silver crepe paper. freshmen served in oriental pajamas. Music by the Mason City Rockets accompanied dinner grills turkey was served by junior mothers. Toasts were given by Karen Curtis James Maxwell Leroy Kingery John Spratt and Supt Tatum. After the banquet about 100 students and parent chaperones attended a movie and breakfast in Waterloo funded by donations from parents P T A Legion and Vets Legion Auxiliary and Women’s Club.
