Pruning Demos Set for Butler County Farms
Two pruning demonstrations are planned for Butler County on April 1. At 10:00 a.m. at Tom Albrecht’s farm south of Greene attendees learn pruning of apple trees and spraying tips for fruit trees. Former Resident Injured In Auto Accident Thursday
Robert Persons 22 and Thom as Clark 21 of Iowa Falls were injured in a crash south of Iowa Falls early Thursday. The car traveled east on the north side of highway 175, veered 180 feet on the shoulder, struck a driveway, hit a telephone pole, and rolled several times. Both men were taken to Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Clark listed in good condition. Persons underwent brain surgery for concussion and severe facial and arm injuries.
