Greene locals recount June family visits and reunions

Greene area residents share a hectic week of visits and travel. Mrs. Keith Murphy suffered a fall at home on June 18, needing crutches and home confinement. Numerous relatives and friends from Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Colorado traveled or visited, from Santa Anna California trips to Lake regions and a large Cable family reunion at Logston's State Park near Iowa Falls.

Freeseman Keifer repeat nuptials at St Marys Greene

Terri Lea Freeseman and Michael Bernard Keifer married in a 6 30 p m nuptial mass at St Marys Catholic Church Greene officiated by Monsignor Edmund L Cooney. The ceremony featured powder blue mums white satin bows and a choir with George Kim Stoneberg. The bride wore a white organza gown with chantilace pearls and a chapel train while attendants in powder blue gowns accompanied the couple’s families from Greene and Clear Lake.
