Dates Set for Signup in Feed Grain Programs
Butler County ASCS chairman Herman Stubbe announced the 1965 feed grain and wheat stabilization signup will run seven weeks from February 8 to March 26. Eligible are farmers with feed grain bases and split wheat producers with wheat allotments. those signing up for both may elect to adjust statuses. Participation is voluntary but requires enrollment and at least 20 percent of the farm’s feed grain base diversion, with a maximum of 50 percent or 25 bushels, whichever is greater, across corn, grain sorghum, and barley.
