McRoberts Implement hosts grand opening and open house at their new Greene site on the north edge today and tomorrow. Founded by John McRoberts in 1941 the firm has grown over 28 years expanding to 7 acres for parking and machinery displays. Loren McRoberts joined in 19xx as partner as plans for the future prompted the move. The building covers 9000 square feet with a large display room parts department offices shop and reconditioning area. Superior Ratings In North Iowa Music Contest At Mason City
Seventy seven soloists and twelve ensembles earned blue ribbons at the North Iowa Invitational Grade School Festival on February 15 in Mason City. Over 110 Greene band students, eight chaperones, and 12 piano accompanists joined about 3 000 students from north central Iowa in judging solos and ensembles.
