The office will be open the week of August 26 through 30 for students or parents to pay book rental fees and buy lunch tickets in advance. Books are issued on the first or second day. High school schedules will use a seven period day with morning lab periods and four 45 minute afternoon classes. Band vocal music and athletics each have 45 minutes of school time for practices. Extra curricular activities during designated periods reduce time provided in the school day. If high school students wish to change courses they should discuss with staff.

Local Girl Crowned Iowa Dairy Princess
Ives Meoswn Dralle daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Dralle of Ceceneves crowned 1957 Iowa Dairy Princess at the All Iowa Fair in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday evening August 20. Carolyn Card of Webster City retired princess crowned Dralle, who won from 24 entrants to compete nationally in Chicago. She is a Greene High School graduate and works for Lutheran Mutual in Waverly.
