Over 130 Attend Cattle Tour In Butler County

An estimated crowd of more than 130 attended the 4th annual Butler County Cattlemen's Tour co sponsored by the cattlemen and the Butler County Extension Service. Aredale Couple Killed in Hampton Area Accident

An Aredale couple died in a tragic accident near Hampton Saturday morning. Raymond Liekweg born August 20, 1912, and his wife Inez Mahlstedt Liekweg born September 10, 1908, lived in Sheffield before moving to Aredale. They left a son William and two grandchildren Christine and Paul, plus siblings and in laws. The double funeral was held August 3, 1976 at Zion St. John's Lutheran Church in Sheffield.
