Editor Speaks on Community, Tennis Plans and Local Hopes
The Mason City Globe Gazette and KGLO coverage praised, the editors note the scout grounds visit north of Marble Rock and tease photos in section two. They joke about the superiority of women, summer treats, and a wary view of the coming bowling season while touching on rain relief and Johnny Dio publicity. They discuss school tennis court plans, a committee to study courts, and a potential site on city property aligned with reorganization plans for separate grade and high schools.
