Cedar Falls youths in J P court on larceny charge
Gary Southard 17 Veryl Sammons 18 and Larry Edgeman 17 all of Cedar Falls were arrested by Cedar Falls police for larceny in the nighttime. Southard was arraigned in J P Court in Allison with bond $500 not furnished and he remains in county jail. Sammons and Edgeman appeared in J P Court with bonds of $500 each, bonds furnished, and released. They are accused of taking farm tools oil and gasoline from a farm near New Hartford.

Samuel Ritter 77 dies in Greene after illness
Samuel Sours Ritter, 77, died early Sunday at his Greene home after an illness of asthma and heart trouble. Born April 18, 1884 near Marble Rock, he lived in Marble Rock and Greene all his life. He married Pearl Thompson in 1908. they celebrated a golden wedding in 1958. A former lineman for A T and T and later with Butler Bremer Telephone and Interstate Power, he helped install the power line between Greene and Osage. His hobby was raising full blooded rabbits shipped nationwide. Surviving: three sons Dale Waterloo, Don Marble Rock, Wayne Greene. three daughters Ella Mae Merrill Marble Rock, June Johnson Alta Vista, Nadine Busching Tulsa. nineteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three brothers Philip Aredale, Lloyd Ilinois, Paul Wither Wisconsin. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Church of Christ. burial in Rose Hill cemetery. Williams Mortuary in charge.

Former Resident Mrs Leo Gorman Dies in Minnesota
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Leo Gorman, 68, on April 8 at her home in Fairmont Minnesota.
