Fremont Rainbow Gals Hold April 7 Meeting
The Fremont Rainbow Gals met April 7 at Rita Wilken’s home. Seventeen members attended with three leaders and two visitors. Business covered a paid bill and new materials. Rita Wilken spoke on fabrics for pillows and scarfs. Marge Barnett and Sandy Losren demonstrated lap-backed pillows and place mats. Personal appearance contest winners were announced: Jill Feldman, Cindy Stoppelmoor, Connie Feldman, Marge Barnett, Jane Lovrien, Connie Bienemann with alternates. Lunch was served by Rita and Mrs. Wilken.

Women's Club Met At Metzger Home On April 15
The Greene Women's Club met at Mrs. Paul Metzger's home Tuesday evening April 15 with Mrs. Dell Curtis absent. President Mrs. Metzger led a short business meeting as program chairwoman Mrs. Russell Meyers introduced Pastor Edward Hanff who shared slides from Lutheran Europe tours. Hanff showed a collection of Hummel figurines and noted visits to the original Hummel factory. Tea was served by committee members Mrs. Loren McRoberts, Mrs. Lowell McWilliams, and Mrs. Kenneth Jackson after the program.
