Mrs A L Bland age 84 died about 10 AM at the home of Mr and Mrs William Wetz on Forest Hill Cemetery road Greencastle where she had wintered with her daughter She was mother of Mrs William Wetz and also survived by C S Baker of Columbus and Mrs Ella Richman of Chicago Her body will be taken to Columbus for burial

The program opens with Summer by Abt, a three part arrangement for girls. The Wreck of the Hesperus by Ander ton features a mixed chorus of fifty pupils with soloists Dean McCutchan Ira B Pratt Gladys Jolley and Edna Ellis.
Mr and Mrs Fred L O Hair of Indianapolis plan relocation to New York where O Hair will join National City Bank as the Indiana manager formerly based in Indianapolis. The move follows his tenure overseeing bank operations in Indiana.

The executive committee of the national Democratic committee endorsed the federal woman suffrage amendment after a referendum among the forty eight state committeemen. The vote was 5 to 2 in the committee, with twenty eight of forty eight states voting for the amendment, fourteen against and six not recorded.
