A large crowd attended as food donations were given at admission and turned to distribution committees serving the poor. Putnam Circuit Court action alleges Mr and Mrs John Norwood aged over 50 were deceived by daughter and son in law Me and Mrs Elmer Hurst who obtained their home and $100 in personal property for promises to care for them. The complainants say the Hursts mortgaged the property and used proceeds for personal use while neglecting the Norwoods. The Norwoods seek to set aside the deed and contract.

Injured Man Returns Home After Streetcar Crash
Graydon Graham son of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Graham was brought to his parents home after injuries from a streetcar crash near Plainfield. He had burns and cuts but is not believed to be seriously hurt. Death Claims Ross Huffman in Bridgeport Home
Ross Huffman, 48, of Bridgeport and former Putnam County resident, died at his home early today after a brief illness. The body was taken to his father Ivan Hanan's home in Brazil. Surviving are his widow Beulah Hoffman, a sister Mrs. Vollie Roach of Reelsville, and a brother Clain Hoffman of Reelsville. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Big Walnut Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Athey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
