Two Bedford Girls Missing From Homes in Bedford Indiana
Police seek Isis Haverly 16 daughter of Mr and Mrs Arch Haverly and Paula Carter 15 daughter of Mrs Allen Carter who vanished from their homes last Thursday. Haverly wore a blue coat green hat five feet tall weighed 115 pounds brown hair and eyes. Carter brunette weighs 108 pounds wore a black and white dress novelty coat and tan hat. Her father died last summer and she cared for two young children while her mother worked.

Unidentified Driver Breaks Off Fireplug in Greencastle
A car driven by an unidentified man struck a fireplug at Ohio street and Maple avenue about 45 o clock Saturday night breaking it off. The car was not badly damaged and the driver fled without reporting. Fire fighters and water company workers repaired the plug by 11 o clock and water crews began replacing the damaged fixture the next day.

Fear fog suspected as ten cattle die in Yorkshire
In Crosmount Yorkshire ten cattle died on a farm amid fog related fears. The veterinary authorities say the symptoms do not match any known disease and note no other farms are affected though fog and illness worries run high in the region.

Wrecked Car Stripped and Burned in Indiana Case
An Indianapolis man, W. B. Gigssel, saw his wrecked car stripped of tools and burned after a collision with an unidentified vehicle near Putnamville. The other driver fled, authorities investigated as probable vandalism by passing ropers, and the car was towed to Greencastle for further work.
