Alma Anderson Dies After Prolonged Illness
Miss Alma P. Anderson died in Greeley hospital after a years long illness. A former stenographer for local law offices, she was popular in the Swedish community. She lived in Weld county nine years after moving from Boone Iowa. Funeral services were held at the Swedish Free Mission church last Sunday. She was about twenty nine.

The Fortnightly Musical club opened a four attraction series with baritone Charles W. Clark at the Greeley opera house last Wednesday night. The audience was complete and the event drew high praise as a social and musical highlight of the season. Ed Smith and Al Stutsman of Cheyenne were found guilty of petty larceny in district court, tied to earlier charges of grand larceny involving cattle theft from James Rowe and timber theft from the Union Pacific railroad at Pierce. Mrs Anna Stutsman faced dismissal of her case after one day of hearing. Hall Foley had previously pled guilty.

Oscar C. Keaton, a young Union Pacific brake man, died in Denver after being severely injured when he slipped on icy rails while aiding a cutoff at Platteville. He was on a Cheyenne to Denver freight and never lost consciousness on the quick trip to Mercy hospital. Entertain Choir At Russell Home After Church
Mr and Mrs H A Russell assisted by Mrs R D Stover entertained the M E church choir last Thursday. Guests were given cobwebs to unwind and asked to sculpt animals from vegetables. Edwin Starkey won first prize for an elephant made from carrots and Miss Maud Putney won second prize. Refreshments were served by the hostesses and helpers. Thirty guests attended.
