A Denver area firm led by D A Camfield J yi Creery and Charles H Wheels of Greeley has seized control of the Laramie Poudre Reservoir and Irrigation Company. Memorial Services Held Amid Storm at Greeley Opera House
Memorial services were held at the Greeley Opera House by the G A R and other military societies with limited attendance due to a storm. TA Trimmer of Trinity Episcopal Church delivered the sermon titled Out to the Past with Rev J W King reading scripture and Rev Doane giving the benediction. A high school chorus led by Prof J R White Forbes conducted the service. Separately a small party honored mothers with a social and crafts chat, featuring refreshments and decorated rooms.

Veterans form Spanish War camp in local group
A Sunday meeting organized a local United Spanish War Veterans camp with Major S. D. C. Hays of Denver as guest speaker. Thirteen men attended. A. J. Luther Robert Dye and J. H. Bernard were named to obtain a charter and prep the camp. About twenty five charter members are planned with forty eligible in the area. The new society will join Decoration Day exercises next Saturday.
