In Trinidad on May 20, John W. Wingate of Durango was elected department commander of the Colorado Wyoming division of the G A R. Dexter T. Sapp Gunnison J H Burt Colorado Springs and Frank Baldwin Boulder received complimentary votes. Grand Junction was chosen for the next encampment and retiring commander H C Watson of Greeley got a diamond studded badge. Ladies auxiliary officers and Daughters of Veterans leaders were also named with Mra Fannie Be Knight Pueblo as department commander and a slate of vice presidents treasurers chaplains and inspectors named in Colorado and neighboring states. Spectacular Runaway Ends with Sprain for Fred Erm
