Ownership dispute over Alward estate ends in settlement
In Isaac Brown and Clara Alward case, all suits were dismissed after a settlement. The insane woman’s sister from California threatens criminal charges if property is not restored. The agreement requires returning two thirds of the estate, clothing, and belongings, with $700 cash kept by the negro, and the eighty acre property valued at $4,000 slated to be divided after the woman’s death.
