McCullen Survives 2300-Volt Line Accident in Windsor
McCullen suffered eight burn holes in one hand and a burn on the elbow when 2300 volts surged through his arm while repairing lines south of the Newcomb residence. Knocked unconscious, he escaped with his life and, though wounded, remains active the next morning. An employee of Northern Colorado, he is a well known figure in Windsor though not a resident.

The new open air theater will debut with a high class vaudeville on July 4. It shares the circuit with the Crystal of Denver and will present the same acts here. Bijou remains for moving pictures with five cent admission. The airodome, concrete and roofless, seats about 1,000 and complies with fire regulations. If nights stay warm it could be a big success.

Band Excursion Draws Large Crowds to Eldora Trip
The Greeley band excursion to Eldora Sunday sold nearly 100 tickets with large delegations from Longmont Loveland Collins Boulder and Windsor filling the train. Mountain scenery aroused excitement as the group transferred to narrow gauge at Boulder. Eldora locals arranged a baseball game and eating houses prepared for the crowd. Snow largely melted except on higher peaks as excursionists climbed Eldora peaks and engaged in snowballing. Fishing was good though few carried gear.
