The petition follows the council’s denial of a franchise and indemnity bond for a street railway and is believed to seek reconsideration. The document was filed with the council.

Pentecostal Church of the Nazarene Holds First Annual Meeting

Last Monday an excursion from Gilcrest went to Weaver to urge the Union Pacific superintendent to place a depot at Gilcrest. A special chartered car bore banners and badges announcing the town's purpose, and about eighty residents joined the trip.
