Jackson Lake reservoir under construction near Orchard
Seventy five teams and about twice that many men work on the Jackson Lake reservoir near Orchard. The feeder and headgate are nearly complete and water flows into the lake. When finished the dam will be about two miles long, 30 feet high, with a capacity of 1.7 billion cubic feet and 2500 acres of surface to augment Fort Morgan Platte and Beaver ditch supplies.
