Using logging sleds two rows at once smooths furrows, speeds water delivery, saves water, and raises yields in the Arkansas Valley. Elesmo Club closes year with elaborate social dance
The Elesmo club held a highly elaborate closing dance on Wednesday evening. The hall was decorated as an elegant parlor with eight piece orchestra, pictures, couches, and pillows. J W Dillon proprietor of Weld county nurseries filled an order for 550 trees to Lafayette this spring about 5 000 fruit and ornamental trees have been sold by Dillon. Nearly half sold outside Greeley district shows growing reputation across the state. Yesterday morning in the completed Haffelfinger Perry case Haffelfinger lost the first round with a Perry landlord winning a judgment for the full claim plus 300 attorney fees. The sheriff was compelled to arrest him to satisfy the 1,140 judgment plus costs as his 27 head of horses farm machinery and other goods were attached.

Lineman Falls From 25-Foot Pole Near Eaton

Myrtle Coyne, 21, formerly Myrtle Finch, is granted a divorce from James J. Coyne after testimony of three months of marriage marked by drink, threats, and abuse. Inquest Not Held After Hudson Coal Engine Explosion
Coroner T G Macy returned from Hudson after investigating the accidental deaths of J A Smith and Daniel Peck. No inquest was deemed necessary. A traction engine explosion hurled three men, killing two instantly and severely injuring J C Cathro who may die. Smith leaves a wife and three children, to be buried in Canada. Peck, a widower, lived with his elderly father on a claim. funeral plans not yet set.

Hand Crushed in Accident Hurting Drayman
Ewart Waldo, a drayman, was injured Wednesday afternoon when a load of iron pipe rolled off a car and crushed his hand. The bones were severely damaged and he will be out of work for some time. The hand was dressed at once and remains painful.
