Community officials in Greeley and Weld County report reduced bootlegging and gambling activity after months of intensified enforcement. District attorneys and police say no substantive list of local citizens faces charges, stressing evidence based action and a continued push to keep vice margins low.

He admitted to taking $21, including $8 from Flinton, while washing dishes at a Springs restaurant.
Four year old child of J D Patterson of Mead was playing with a celluloid comb when a lamp ignited the object and set the clothes on fire. The mother smothered the flames with an apron around the boy and saved his life.
Sheriff and deputy pursue John Cokely, recently moved from Platteville for restraint, who fled the county hospital while deluded there is a man trying to break up his home. He was recaptured at a pool hall near Camfield and will be kept at the jail before Pueblo transfer. Neighbors recall his prior railroad work. Bloomington visitors expected next week include Mr. and Mrs. Green and Mr. and Mrs. Riggs.
Articles of incorporation filed for Camfield Town & Improvement Company with $50 000 capital. Incorporators include Albert B. Utter and Louis A. Utter of Denver and Albert W. Thompson of Fort Collins. A J Condon of Greeley among large stockholders not active. Town to be on the Union Pacific extension, eight miles east and one mile south of Ault. surveyors to begin soon and boom expected within weeks.

In Denver the Denver Laramie and Northwestern faces a federal injunction suit filed by its officers and the auxiliary company seeking to bar stockholders and others attempting to place the road in receivership. Greeley observers blame discharged officials allied with rival interests for stirring trouble delaying progress toward completion. An auditing committee found the company solvent, but market chatter and ads offering Laramie stock for old iron complicate the dispute.
Denver March 29 The Cradle baugh murder case will go to the jury tonight. Evidence is all in and the attorneys are summing up the evidence.
In Denver on March 29 John Collins age 60 fatally shot Miss Sarah Nichols 59 a maid aunt of Mrs McDonald then killed himself. Nichols shot in the head died soon after and Collins was found dead by his own hand later. Nichols was taken to St Luke's hospital with a head wound and cannot speak.

Special to the Daily Tribune indicates Judge Lewis presides in Denver as the government moves to condemn the Currier estate for the Greeley post office site. The hearing began this morning and may extend for some time before a final ruling.
Mary Farmer died in the electric chair at Auburn prison at 6 15 this morning. Five women and twenty men witnessed the execution. She was the murderer of Sarah Brennan.

A horse owned by J. K. Thomp son the piano man fell into a deep eight foot cellar after a bank slip near the corral on Ninth avenue across from the courthouse. The horse rolled twice and stood up uninjured but trapped overnight until a slope was dug this morning and the animal was led out.
