Tollefson Joins Faculty Here in Fall as Geology Associate

Oscar W. Tollefson, PhD, completes Colorado University June graduation and will join the CSCE science faculty as associate professor of geology in September. He has taught geology and geography at Kansas State College in Manhattan since 1946 and has taught summer sessions at Colorado University. Native of Willow Lake South Dakota, he was born and educated there.

School leader with degrees from Huron College and Colorado University

The individual holds a bachelor’s degree from Huron College in Huron and a master’s from Colorado University. His career spans rural, high school science, and principal roles at Gettysburg and Gellysburg, serving as superintendent from 1937 to 1945.

Dr Weiss to Join Faculty at Local Education Division

Dr Robert Monroe Weiss, finishing army service at Fort Bragg, will join the division of education faculty in September. He earned a Doctor of Education from Teachers College Columbia and taught at Teachers College 1951 to 1954. He and his wife recently visited Greeley to discuss the appointment.

Teaching Aids Exhibit At CSCE Monday And Tuesday
