Twyla Bowyer daughter of Mr and Mrs Bowyer of Longmont formerly of Greeley wed Edgar Ty Bowne son of Mr and Mrs Floyd Gardner of Berthoud at First Methodist church of Tangmont. The ceremony featured pink and white peonies, satin gown, and a single ring vows. The couple reside Route 1 Loveland where the groom works at Martin Allard dairy after brief honey moon in the mountains.

Mizpah Clase Meeting Attended by 22 at Church Parlor

Mizpah class of First Bannst enjoyed a meeting Thursday in the church parlor. Twenty one members and a guest attended with president Ethel Mashbuya conducting the business session. Devotions by Grace Tinker referenced a candle theme. Mrs Ferguson spoke on The Saints of the Bible. A covered dish luncheon is planned for July 28 with hostesses George McCardless M E Harrie and Myrtle Thomsonpson.

Royal Neighbors met at Mrs. Becky Martin’s Birch Court Ryans home Friday with co host Mrs Emma Matilh. Adda Hobbs attended as guest. Marian Ruth Schneider of Greeley elected as 2nd beneficiary member. Plans for a picnic at Mrs Feen Arb’s home were set. Evelyn Yockey won high, Ellen Garrison low in whist. A meeting is planned at KP hall with Mrs Ath and Mrs Hotkey hosting.

Billy Graham to Preach Funeral in Colorado Springs

Billy Graham plans to preach at a Colorado Springs funeral for four former team members who drowned Monday after a rescue attempt at Schrodn Lake. Dan FE Trotman, president of Navigators, died in the incident. The report also notes a new Mexican petro chemical plant starting up at 180000 ton rate this year to supply needed chemical fertilizer.

Mrs. Jake Ulrich installed officers of the Longmont Toastmistresses on Wednesday. Twenty attended the dessert meeting at the Callahan House. Chuck Nelson, former Greeley Toastmasters vice president, spoke on People We Meet. he is now Boulder county extension agent in Longmont. The group plans a Morning Toastmasters club in fall with help from Greeley Early Risers and Greeley Evening clubs.

Bethel Baptist Women Entertained in Country

Bethel Baptist Women's Missionary Society met at Mrs. Stanley Farrow's home with Margaret Johnson hosting and Aus Farrow assisting. Mrs. CHI Morgan opened with singing. Johnson led devotions and prayer as plans formed for an upcoming meeting at Gilcrest and July family basket picnic. Sharon Morgan played accordion. speaker Mrs. Orvald Trail spoke on Serving Christ during Vacation. Herrick and Mason sang, Grace Marvin gave the blessing.

Elizabeth Bauerte Honored an Birthday

A group of friends gathered at 1230 Second Street to celebrate Mrs. Elizabeth Bauerte's eighty second birthday. She has been ill and hospitalized over the winter and spring and remains mostly confined to a chair. She received gifts and cards from many friends and relatives including a gift from the Auburn club ink Mowers from Dr. Donn Barber. Her daughter Mrs. Elsie Hayes of Hollywood visits, tester Bawerle of Salt Lake City came for an visit.

Gilcrest Garden Club Sees Yard Tour and Roses Talk

Gilcrest Garden Club met at Mrs Henry Walters country home for a regular session. Miss Belle Spangenberg and Miss Shirley Walters attended as guests. Members discussed a yearbook project and displayed rose related topics. A trip to iris and rose gardens in Boulder and Longmont was reviewed with a picnic in Boulder City Park. Proceeds from a candy sale will fund beautification at the town pump site.

Legion Auxiliary Hears Top Songs at Colorado Convention

The Ye Aeverleans Legion auxiliary chorus won first place in ghora competition at the Colorado American Legion convention at Fsies Park. The Greeley quartet also took top honors, performing winning selections during the auxiliary meeting at the Legion hall. Two guests Laura Stonebraker and Allan Thompson attended, with hostesses Meck Oliver, Lusalla Peters, Ethel Berrier, Miriam Bedinger, Lena Cum-MIAS. This was the season's first meeting.
