Chautauqua Tent Erected as Opening Nears
The chautauqua tent is being set up on the new high school grounds with platform manager A M Reitzel present and the event scheduled to begin tomorrow afternoon. The junior chautauqua will be at the Baptist Sunday school playground at Eleventh avenue and Fourteenth street under Miss Elizabeth Taylor. Children of the city are invited to arrive at 10:30 Saturday morning for activities though six to twelve year olds pay one dollar for a junior ticket. Younger children enter free with season-ticket holders. The Fort Collins chautauqua has already begun and crowds grow at each meeting.

Baltimore June 21 Former Judge Alton B Parker of New York was chosen as temporary chairman by the arrangements committee over Bryan supporters. Parker received eight votes to three for Henry Texas and Ollie James Kentucky, with Kern Indiana and O Gorman New York each getting one. Urey Woodson Kentucky was named temporary sergeant at arms.
