Lewistown endured a troubling Tuesday night with several incendiary fires traced to J. W. W's or similar arson. The major blaze struck the high school building, nearly destroying the older sections, while smaller fires were allegedly used to divert attention from the big fire. Oil and gasoline cans were recovered, suggesting deliberate ignition.

Greenfield of Blakesee Montana seeks to establish a homestead claim for the northwest quarter of section in township 4 north, range 4 east, with present witnesses John Ferguson Henrietta Rose Searcy Thompson of Grass Range Montana. Auditor R G Poland certifies the company’s authorized to transact business until May 31 1919 and lists figures for capital and surplus including assets total and admitted capital.
