Legislate for the Farmers in Montana’s Next Session
Major Edwards, re-elected state senator from Rosebud county, says farmers will get attention in upcoming legislation. He notes agriculture’s growing weight in Montana politics, calls for a stronger state hail insurance funding, weed law reform, seed wheat help, and broader farm measures. President Wilson praises wartime efforts and notes troop deployment and home-front support. A Berlin plot to restore imperialism surfaces, and big meat packers are found to restrain trade.
