Glen Haven society notes include arrivals from Prince ton and Manistee guests of Miss Alice Dar, visits by Mrs. Shank and family, and Eleanor Stecker from Chicago spending weeks with her sister. D. F. L. Day planted 12 000 black bass in Glen Lake. a six person party visited Cedar Springs Lodge. local golf hosts entertained guests including EY Harvey Wilce and R. Haas. Recitations, temperance talks, and convention plans wrap up the gathering.

Sunday School Report of Grant and Green-Lake Convention

The Sunday school convention met at Rice’s school house on Saturday July 13 with President J N Kennedy presiding. Devotions led by Rev Mr Wood and Distinct singing and recitals followed. The afternoon opened with The Story that Never Grows Old. Mrs Dye resigned as Primary Superintendent and Mrs Sheenan elected to fill vacancy. Schools represented included Grawn Monroe Center West Union Rice. A beginners class taught by Mrs Hobbs Traverse City. Theme The Life of Christ illustrated by pictures.

Christian Endeavor Growth in Ireland Eight Years

Eight years ago Irish Christian Endeavor societies formed from Methodist groups and now number 150 with membership rising from 3,500 to 6,000. Thirteen new societies joined the Irish Christian Endeavor union representing Methodist Presbyterian and Baptist denominations.
