Death of Attorney Baldwin Shocks Traverse City Friends

Friends of Attorney T. S. Baldwin were shocked by his death in Indianapolis after an operation. A well known local figure for about a year, he leaves a widow and daughter Hattie Louise, two and a half, plus surviving brother Dr. Baldwin and sister Mrs. Charles Jeffries of this city. His father, aged about 64, also survives. A noted orator and former Noblesville practitioner, he located in Traverse City and was active in the local option campaign before illness. He died in hospital after extended illness.

Infant of Eldred Family Dies After Illness

Lucile Martha Eldred, infant daughter of Mr and Mrs H T Eldred of 419 West Eleventh street, died Sunday evening at 6 30 with whooping cough. Born November 23, the child was under a period of illness. Funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock with Rev J C Matthews of the Fourteenth Street M E church presiding.
