Notre Dame De Salette Buried After Mountain Slide
Buckingham Quebec April 72 Half the hamlet of Notre Dame De Salette was buried by a mountain slide on the Lievre river. At least 20 residents died as rock and earth crushed homes while survivors were trapped beneath debris. Spring melt helped trigger the slide.

Mrs. Jamies Vernier receives 4250 from Pere Marquette after her husband’s instant death in a Saginaw division railroad accident on December 2, 1907.
