Trades Day Returns to Graham as anthrax fears fade
Next Monday marks the hoped-for revival of Graham’s Big Monday Trades Day after anthrax scares kept crowds away. Last Concert by Graham Concert Band in Court House Park
The Graham Concert Band delivered the last free outdoor concert of the season in court house park last Friday with a large crowd. The impromptu program ranged from classical to ragtime and the band plans winter practice under manager Mr. Yancey to offer several indoor performances. A broad repertoire of classics and operatic pieces will be refined, aiming for an extraordinary winter program and future open air concerts next year. The winter schedule will be announced soon.

Baby Hurt by Fall at Dinner injures collar bone
The baby of Mr. and Mrs. Willardagin fell from a high chair at dinner last Saturday and broke its collar bone. Initial fears of internal injuries eased as the child improved this week and is expected to recover fully.
