At a Sunday meeting of the United Charity Board at the Methodist Church new members were installed and the board reorganized with F. C. Marshall as president and J. T. Rickman as secretary treasurer. Bond Election For Good Roads Set For December 29
The Commissioners Court of Young County orders a road bond election for 750000. Initial petitions sought 500000, but expansion was needed to cover miles of roads. One daughter had previously drowned at Henrietta. He was a well known pioneer with many friends in the county grieving his passing.

Miss Nadine Handy Dies in Dallas
The death of Miss Nadine Handy was reported from Graham yesterday. She died in Dallas Tuesday afternoon and her body was sent to Graham to be buried in Oak Grove today. Miss Handy lived in Graham during childhood, returned with her father in 1921, and spent several years here. She had many friends in Graham who mourn her passing after a period of frail health.
