Two Hundred Barrel Well In Herron Field
The Shimmel No. 8 offsetting Penn Cities Meeks No. 1 in the Herron Bend about one half mile north of Herron City is making around 200 barrels from the 2500 foot sand with the drill only four feet in the sand. This well is on the old Miller Horner and Taylor lease and is believed will be a good producer when drilled deeper.
