Extravagant sale offers across the store with blankets, clothing, and fabrics at half to two thirds off. Items include cotton blankets from 50c to $2.15, wool blankets up to $6.50, aprons, ginghams, dress skirts at cost, and overcoats from Graham stock with low prices. Store emphasizes extreme value and quick sell through.
A movement to form a Boys Corn Cotton and Mow Maize Club in Young County starts with an January meeting on Trades Day. J 4H Fisher will tour the county next week to set dates for schoolhouse talks, with Hon. Tom Marks to assist at the organization. Graham plans prizes for fall harvest and entertainment on organization day. The Sun will run a department next summer for the club to share ideas and support members.
Wes Cunningham, a respected Eliasville resident for 25 years, was badly hurt when a bale slipped on a wagon loaded with cotton, causing the wheel to crush his left arm. He was taken to W. T. Donnell's home for first aid and medical treatment, and later to his Eliasville residence. initial reports say he is doing fairly well despite great pain.
The public weigher in the Graham yard weighed 8500 bales of cotton Tuesday morning. Graham projected 10000 bales to be weighed this season and current signs suggest the yard will exceed those figures as the crop comes in. Every West Texas town claims leadership in cotton trade, but the tally shows the real market leader.
A nine foot bullsnake shed, found by Grandpa Riddling on Salt Creek, is on display in the window. The large shed was sent to the newspaper and comes from Indian Mound residents.

The Leader will publish the History of Young County from before its organization to the present, edited by Judge P A Martin. The issue will also feature old Leader files, "Old Rounder" pieces, and articles from thirty seven years ago, with J K Shipman of Stamford promoting Cisco Marble Works.
This week A J Bryan sold his interest in the Graham gin to G D Hinson who assumes all indebtedness and takes over all accounts and bills due Mr Bryan in the gin.
