Mrs. C. P. Hutchison hosted a 3 to 6 pm shower at her home for newlywed Miss Mary Hudson Robertson, wife of Dr. F. E. Robertson. The Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle met in regular session at Mrs C Fox Clarke home with thirteen members. President Z A Hudson presided as reports from committees on the Young County Fair were read showing the Baby Welfare Booth weighed and tagged two hundred fifty babies and distributed as many Food Charts. Money from carnival caps grab bags and hamburgers exceeded $150.00. The club thanked Burkett Bennett Wignall and Reece and Waples Platter Grocer Company for aid. A Mayflower Compact discussion and a Federation Review by Mrs Clarke introduced the club magazine from the State Federation.

Dr Cook Receives 14 Years In Fort Worth Penitentiary
