Fred B. Foster 29 is killed when his Cadillac roadster plunges from a bridge in Fort Worth while en route to inspect Federal Refineries with Laney and Johnson. Johnson and Laney survive with injuries. Foster dies en route to sanitarium. Foster, California native and Fort Worth resident, had extensive oil holdings across Texas and recently completed a refinery on Mahaney land.

Mrs. W. C. Bell, longtime city resident and First Christian Church member, died after several days of illness. Funeral services were held today at the First Christian Church at three o clock, with large attendance and floral tributes. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery. she is survived by her husband five children three brothers and other relatives.

The Eliasville district may announce another wildcat producer this week from the Young county side. A deep test on the Sarah S. Cotton survey by Roxana and Ben Ross shows at 4209 feet the hole standing partly in oil and emitting considerable gas. Oil gravity reportedly higher than West Texas crude. The well is two miles from the Stephens county line and drillers remain optimistic.
