W O W Unveiling Observed Sunday
The W O W unveiling and decoration last Sunday drew a large crowd from the countryside. A 3 pm parade to the cemetery decorated twenty seven graves and three gravestones for Mrs Joe Washoury Mrs Will Campbell and Traeest Price. Louis Wilson of Dallas gave an address to Woodmen Circle members and a banquet followed at the Dolman House. The Graham Woodmen called the day the greatest success they have ever enjoyed.

Red Cross Parade Plans National Registration Day Celebration
The local Red Cross chapter schedules a 2 PM parade featuring Graham band students Camp Fire Girls Woodmen Circle and uniformed citizens of military age. A 8 15 PM mass meeting at the courthouse will hear speeches from Rev Gary L Smith Dr H E Griffin M K Graham R V Tidwell and Judge Stinson. Ice cream and cake will aid the Red Cross fund.

Graves couple return to Graham after eight years
L. W. Graves and his wife arrived Friday night from League City where they have lived eight years and plan to make Graham their home again. Graves is a son of the late Major J. W. Graves founder of this paper and is regarded as one of the state’s best newspaper men. Local friends welcome the returning pair.
